Lobster Roll

A lobster roll is a simple and quick solution for fancy romantic lunch and dinner ideas. This lobster roll is suitable for summer as it is light, and with just a few simple ingredients, you and your guest can enjoy this fancy lobster meal in 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lobster 1-2 lb
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ Tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 2 Tsp dill
  • 1/3 cup yellow bell pepper diced
  • 2 hot dog bum
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Wash your lobster under cold water for 5 minutes and use a brush to scrub them off any debris or dirt on them
  • Boil enough water in a big pot to cover up the whole lobster, add some salt and pepper to the boiling water while boiling the lobster for 7-10 minutes

  • Place lobster on a flat surface to cool off a bit before breaking the lobster apart.
  • Starting with breaking apart the head with the tail first by twisting at the joint between head and tail. Then find a strong scissor to cut down the midline of the tail, so you can open the tail apart and pull the meat out. For breaking other joints, also use the scissor to break apart and claws from the lobster head.

  • Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and dill.

  • Place the lobster meat inside the salad dressing, then put it in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Prepare the hot dog bum, by coating the bum with a layer of butter, and heat up in the oven for about 5 minutes until it looks golden brown
  • Cut the bum open, and place lobster salad in the middle. Sprinkle with some yellow bell pepper to decorate.
