Creamy Lemon Pasta

Lemon pasta tossed in creamy lemon garlic sauce makes your every bite fill with lemon aroma. A great summer recipe for a romantic date idea that only takes 10 minutes to put this elegant pasta meal on your table.

Ingredients
  

  • 13 oz package pasta noodle your preference
  • 1 lemon juiced and zest
  • 4 big cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 1 Tsp pepper
  • Basil and Spinach for garnish if desired
  • ½ cup pasta water

Method
 

  1. Boil a big pot of salted water, and add in pasta when water is boiled. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan, turn to medium heat and add in garlic for 1 minute, then add in the lemon zest from half of the lemon, and add in all lemon juice from one whole lemon, wait for 1 minute
  3. Add whipping cream and cheese to the pan.
  4. Add pasta noodles and start mixing the noodle with the lemon sauce for about 3 minutes, then add in some pasta water to loosen the sauce a little.
  5. Add in some basil and spinach to garnish, then finish off with a sprinkle of some black pepper.
  6. Serve on your beautiful plates, and enjoy!
